WELCOME NEW BOARD MEMBER
B2L has welcomed a new board member. We are thrilled to announce Angie Mason-Smith as the newest member of the Build 2 Lead Board! Angie brings a wealth of experience in equity, innovation, and workforce development, with a career dedicated to expanding career pathways for youth and creating systemic change in education.
As Program Director at Washington STEM, Angie has led statewide initiatives that remove barriers and connect students—especially those furthest from educational justice—to high-demand, family-wage careers. Her leadership in policy advocacy, workforce development, and cross-sector collaboration makes her an invaluable asset to our mission.

A huge welcome to our newest staff members, Anthony Curtis, Youth Training Specialist, and Matthew Etienne, Youth Training Specialist!
We are excited to have new staff in our organization. They bring a sense of urgency to help impact and bring generational greatness to our youth and surrounding communities and have deep community ties and connections. It feels good to have a culture of cultural connection and service. Looking forward to seeing their work impact our organization and programs.
