Build 2 Lead celebrated Communities of Opportunity for their 10 year celebration!

Build 2 Lead staff and P.O.W.E.R partners attended the 10-year celebration for Communities of Opportunity! Communities of Opportunity (COO) is a growing movement of partners who believe every community can be a healthy, thriving community - and that equity and racial justice are both necessary and achievable.

Communities of Opportunity funds some of our B2L programs and is a vital partner, not only for Build 2 Lead but other groups who strive to create progress and build equitable systems.

Build 2 Lead P.O.W.E.R partner, Najmah Messiah, of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, had an opportunity to speak at the beginning of the program and B2L staff and partners enjoyed a night of great food, friends, and fellowship. We truly appreciate those who have invested in B2L’s mission and vision such as COO.
