Closing the G.A.P. is a workforce development program dedicated to providing students aged 16-24 with access to work development training, interview experience, and industry credentials. Build 2 Lead works to supply students with positive outcomes such as job retainment, enrollment into post-secondary education, and/or advanced career training!

With Roots of Success, the curriculum of the program creates the foundation for students to be prepared to enter the workforce or continue into higher education. The students will leave with a fundamental understanding of the following topics:

Health, Food & Agriculture
Community Organizing & Leadership
Financial Literacy & Social Entrepreneurship

We are offering a summer session of Closing the G.A.P. starting on July 10th 2024 in Federal Way (exact location to be announced). Ages 16-24 can apply for the program which will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11-2.
