Graduation for B2L Programming Celebrates 70 Student Graduates!

We have completed all of our programming for the 2023-24 school year! During the first couple of weeks in June we held completion ceremonies for Jennie Reed Elementary, Evergreen Middle School, Thomas Jefferson High School (TJHS) and TAF@Saghalie.

Build 2 Lead programming works to prepare students for leadership, advocacy, and educational and career success! Our programs have milestones and deliverables that must be reached in order to participate in graduation. We are so proud of all the students who strived to meet their goals and make it to graduation!

At Jennie Reed 15 out of 16 students completed all required deliverables and milestones for “Reaching for Greatness.”

At Evergreen Middle School 21 out of 25 completed 80% of the milestones and deliverables for “Reaching for Greatness.”

At TJHS 7 out of 7 students completed all required modules for “Closing the GAP.” At TJHS 18 out of 25 students completed all required deliverables and milestones for “Civic-Champions,” and in TAF@Saghalie 9 out of 15 students completed all required deliverables and milestones for “Civic-Champions.”

This brings our total number of youth who participated in our completion ceremonies to 70!!! This is amazing and a true testament to students' love for B2L and our staff's commitment to excellence.
